EPL...again.

I keep marking my book up when quotes stand out for me. If I write them all this blog will take longer than I'd like it to. Here are a few more that made me pause:

"You should never give yourself the chance to fall apart because, when you do, it becomes a tendency and it happens over and over again. You must practice staying strong instead."

"You gotta stop wearing your wishbone wear your backbone oughtta be."

"There are only two questions that human beings have ever fought over, all through history. How much do you love me? and who's in charge? Everything else is somehow manageable. But these two questions of love and control undo us all, trip us up and cause war, grief and suffering."

"...you look at the picture too closely and all the firm lines start to melt away into an indistinct mass of blurry brushstrokes and blended pixels."

This one I decided to include just because it took me back to the days of Classical Sociology Theory. It's so Marx..."the collective is absolutely more important than the individual."

I can't wait for the movie - out in August!
